What Clipboard stores
A Clip is a saved item in your private Clipboard. It can be a short note, a full user-and-assistant conversation, one or more files, or a combination of text and files.
Each Clip has a title. It may also remember which AI host it came from and a link back to the original conversation when that host provides one.
- Notes keep useful text or Markdown.
- Conversation Clips preserve messages in their original order.
- File Clips can include up to 10 files, with each file no larger than 25 MB.
- Clips stay private until you explicitly share them.
Create or sign in to your account
- Open the Clipboard product page and choose Create account, or choose Login if you already have an Inference Scaled account.
- Complete sign-in and open Clipboard. The main Clips view shows your newest saved items first.
- Use + New Clip to create something in the web app, or connect Clipboard to a supported AI host to save from a conversation.
Connect ChatGPT or Claude
The exact installation screen is controlled by ChatGPT or Claude and may change. Look for the place where your AI host lets you add apps, connectors, or tools, then choose Clipboard.
- Add or enable Clipboard in your AI host.
- When Clipboard asks you to authenticate, sign in with your Inference Scaled account.
- Review the requested access and choose Allow. Read access supports listing, searching, and retrieving. Write access supports saving, updating, uploading, and sharing when you ask.
- Start a new conversation if the current one does not show the newly connected integration, then ask it to list your most recent Clip as a read-only check.

Learn the main areas
- Clips: all active Clips, newest first.
- Search: recent Clips and full-text search across titles, content, conversation labels, filenames, and supported file text.
- Favorites: the Clips you have marked for quick access.
- Trash: deleted Clips that you can restore or permanently remove.
