Create the Clip

1. Open the Clips view and choose + New Clip. You can also press Command-N on macOS or Control-N on Windows.
2. Enter a Clip Title. Add text in Clip Content, choose Upload files, or use both.
3. Review the selected filenames and remove anything you do not want to upload.
4. Choose Save Clip. Clipboard opens the Clips view with the new item at the top.

Content and file rules

• The Clip needs text, at least one file, or both.
• You can select up to 10 files for a Clip.
• Each selected file must be no larger than 25 MB.
• Clipboard avoids adding the exact same local file selection twice in one new-Clip form.

After saving

Open the Clip to copy its text, favorite it, edit it, manage its files, or share it. A manually created Clip has the same privacy and organization controls as one saved from an AI conversation.
