Add or replace files
- Open the Clip and choose Edit.
- Under Attached files, choose Replace file beside an existing attachment, or choose Add files to keep the existing files and append new ones.
- Review the pending changes. You can undo a replacement or remove a newly selected file before saving.
- Choose Save changes. Clipboard uploads and verifies every selected file before applying the batch.
Preview a file
Choose Preview when that action appears. Images, PDFs, supported text formats, spreadsheets, and documents may open inline. Some document previews need background text extraction, so Clipboard may show Preparing preview before the action becomes available.
A preview is a convenient reading view. Download the file when you need the original bytes or want to open it in its native application.
Download a file
- Open the Clip and locate the attachment.
- Choose Download. Clipboard creates a short-lived secure file response for that attachment.
- If the file is unavailable, confirm the attachment is marked ready and retry. A pending upload cannot be downloaded yet.
