Search and open your Clips

Clipboard search covers more than titles, so you can often find a Clip using a phrase from its content or an attached file.

Open search

  1. Choose Search in the Clipboard navigation, or press Command-K on macOS or Control-K on Windows.
  2. Before you type, the panel shows recent Clips.
  3. Enter words from the title, note, saved conversation, conversation label, or filename.
  4. Use the arrow keys to move through results and press Enter, or select a result with your pointer.

What search matches

  • Clip titles and note content.
  • Saved conversation text and conversation labels.
  • Attachment filenames.
  • Extracted text from supported document, spreadsheet, PDF, and text formats after indexing is complete.

Open and review a result

Selecting a result opens the Clip detail view. From there you can read the complete note or conversation, preview or download files, copy text, edit, favorite, share, or delete the Clip.
